BaF2 / CaF2 / MgF2 Optics
SMILVEN has a professional team for processing Barium Fluoride (BaF2) / Calcium Fluoride (CaF2) / Magnesium Fluoride (MgF2) optical products from bespoke custom made to your specification for a range of applications, such as windows, lenses, beam splitters and prisms.
Barium Fluoride (BaF2) is widely used for making optical windows, lenses, and prisms in UV (Ultraviolet)-IR (Infrared) spectra.
Calcium Fluoride (CaF2) is conventional and excellent material for the applications of laser optics. As ideal material for a broad range of Ultraviolet (UV), Visible, or Infrared (IR) applications, it provides high transmission from ultraviolet (UV) to infrared (IR) frequencies. It can be used for many applications like vacuum ultra violet, ultra violet, infrared thermal imaging, spectroscopy, telescopes and excimer lasers, etc.
Magnesium Fluoride (MgF2) is well suited for deep-UV applications, even extending into the vacuum-UV region. It is also excellent for excimer laser applications.
